Praise God for the birth of Cohen!
Friends of mine from Clemson, Chris and Emily McGowan received truly difficult news at their big ultrasound a couple of months ago...their second son, Cohen, was diagnosed with a fatal condition, thanatophoric dysplasia...after weeks of prayer and struggling with God in the midst of this, Chris and Emily have been amazing examples of walking with God through true suffering. Tonight, after developing preeclampsia, Emily had a C-section and Cohen was born breathing on his own! God is at work and gave them a miracle- please continue to pray for them- there is no roadmap of what lies ahead- praise to God for allowing Chris and Emily to hold him alive!
please pray for them all- for God to continue to sustain Cohen, for wisdom for the doctors, for comfort and encouragement for Chris and Emily, for God to be glorified in this-
