Dave's big catch...

This past weekend we were in Charleston for our Billy and Renee's wedding and Dave got a chance to go fishing! He was able to catch 2 spot-tails and take one home to show the girls. I had prepped Celia that the fish was dead but when she went to touch it, the fish jumped! Celia about flipped out. I guess I didn't realize how long they live in the cooler....oh well! Glad that Dave got some time out on the water.

So we hid the baskets this year and the girls found them in the castle...

Resurrection Sunday '07

So it really was record setting lows for an Easter in Charlotte but we clearly had to force the "spring is in the air" easter shot.....this is what we got...

This year we hunted for eggs at the Uptown Easter Egg Hunt and it was FREEZING! All bundled in mittens, scarves, coats, and hats we grabbed our baskets and shivered our way among the eggs. Dave was able to share the gospel with the large group gathered and showcase some dance moves with Lindsay and Shane. Here are some pics from the cold morning...

As you can see for the 3 and under's, the eggs weren't so much hidden...

It's been a while...

There has been a lot going on for us lately and we're quite behind in getting up pictures, so here's an attempt to recap. We went to the country not too long ago with the McCanns and the Purdys. The Hunts unfortunately were rehydrating at Presbyterian Hospital and will have to join us next time! We definitely missed them. Here are some highlight pictures....

we shot skeet and if you look closely you can see smoke coming out of my shotgun! I actually shot 50%, pretty good for me!
