comedy of errors...

Well since we were offered the job at Uptown I have been househunting (keep praying that we'll find a great house with loving neighbors and a place where we can develop relationships with both believers and nonbelievers...) and while I was out with Matt Tringali on the hunt Carrie Dirks kept the big girls--- then all hell broke loose...

As soon as we walked out the door Bennett locked herself in the bathroom with the lights out and while Carrie tried to call me, Dave, Melissa....no answer....she finally got a hold of Jake who gave her the Camden number for the guys to unlock B....in the mean time Celia proceeded to draw in pen on the wall...

poor Carrie was a champ through it all and I must say all things aside Celia's drawing is pretty good.....

Big Sister Bennett...

Bennett is coming along way in big sisterhood.....she is so sweet and everytime milla cries Bennett says "willa cwying..." as if I don't hear her...then she'll say "too much cwying..." but other than that there are few complaints...she does like to pretend to be Camilla and be held a lot like her.....she's such a big girl....lots of fun stories but posting in a hurry....i'll tell more later!

answer to prayer!

This Monday night Dave (and I) completed our last interview at uptown and the session has called him to be the assistant pastor!  This is truly an answer to prayer for us!  We have loved these past 3 years in Charlotte and God has truly taught us so much through this church- we love the people and cannot wait to keep loving them!  It is so amazing to see how God has moved in this situation and really orchestrated it all and we can surely say "only God did this." Thank you to all of you who prayed with us and for us during our call search- we could not be happier!  

Aunt B comes to town!

This past Monday Brandy came to Charlotte with her newest sweat pea, Sam. It was so great to just hang out and enjoy our new little babies- I love that she came all this way to hang out! Thanks for making the trip, B!

Light Rail Adventure

Last Saturday Dave and Lindsey took the kiddos on an adventure on the Light Rail giving Kara and myself a little time off- looks like they had a blast!

Melissa turns 30!

Melissa turned the big 3-0! Jake threw a great party at the Capes house with some serious food! It was lots of fun to celebrate Melissa even though we were only there for a little while!

E got the girls these great bouncing balls- they're great to get their energy out while we're stuck inside! I finally filmed this after they'd been bouncing for about 20 straight minutes so I had to coach Bennett to keep her bouncing up---so funny to watch them go! This one is for you Uncle Zach!

Marion pays a visit...

This past week has been a good one but very busy for us! Dave has had the laptop and I try hard to not go all the way downstairs if I can help it! (ready for a house with fewer levels!) So we have a lot to catch up on....On Monday, Kara and Marion came to play...

Mamu came down from Philadelphia from Tuesday until Friday and offered lots of help- all of the little girls were thrilled to play with her!

Last night was just the 5 of us again, it was so great- here is Dave after Celia's got his hands on him!
