please pray for the tippings- all 6 of their babies have now gone home to be with the Lord- pray for God's comfort to be tangible for them and for them to grieve well- for increased faith and trust- for encouragement from others- and for God to be glorified in this........

emergency prayer for the tippings....

A guy I went to college with, Allen Tipping and his wife Courtney, are pregnant with 6 babies- please pray for them-

to make a long story short, after fertility treatment they found out they had not one but 6 babies, and just last week Courtney's contractions started (she's 20 weeks) and last night one of the babies' water broke and was born. This sweet boy did not live. There are 5 remaining- please pray for peace and comfort for them as they grieve the loss of their firstborn son- for the babies to develop, for their health, wisdom for the doctors involved- support and encouragement for Allen and Courtney.....

she's had an epiduryl and is currently having contractions every 10-11 minutes- please pray for a miracle for them.

the plunge...

Well after a few intense weeks of serious prayer and rounds and rounds of discussions and conversations, Dave and I have decided to homeschool Celia next year-



It has been an unbelievable process- I have for years been one of those moms that has said (even in the last 3 or 4 months) that I would never homeschool my kids but apparently I should never say never........it has been so crazy to see the Lord change my heart in this area over the last several weeks....and now to actually be excited about it is hard to believe- but I really am....

so much of me wants to explain every detail of how we got to this decision but I don't feel its necessary or even best to do that yet so for now just be excited with us! and pray for us please- for continued wisdom in this process and direction- for direction about activities to be involved in....

I would have never ever ever thought I would be doing this in the fall but that's where we are and very excited about it!

rockin' the snowy suburbs...

Because life with 3 girls for us is all about playing catch up, our blog has taken quite a hit- We're constantly so behind on the blog because I'm such a stickler for order and chronology that if I can't keep us current or catch us up I just sit and wait......

well not anymore....


as I eventually catch up on the past 3 weeks here let me hit todays highlights....

It snowed for the 3rd time this year! Better yet- as soon as it started snowing last night (approximately 6pm) the Dyers surprised me by showing up sans Cals to help Dave whisk me away to the Ben Folds concert at Ovens- Ben Folds is my favorite artist by far.****sidenote, when Dave and I met we both had Ben Folds screensavers on our computers, lame I know, but don't you love it?****** anyway it was PELTING snow- big fat snowflakes and I was nervous but we drove (Adam) drove to Chipoltle for burritos and then to the concert where we saw Miniature Tigers (i actually liked them) and then an a capella group off the soon to be released Ben Folds CD featuring college groups...these guys were from UNCG I think. It was great- finally Ben Folds came on and it was great- also amazing- we were in the 11th row! Adam had a sweet hook up and it was such a blast!

funny thing about this picture- I couldn't find my gloves for 5 minutes in the car so I finally just put on my hat and jumped out of the car....moments later realized they were inside my hat!

funny things spoken today....

Celia when pointing to Olivia in the book wearing a bikini said "she's wearing a zuchini."
