Uptown Christ Covenant Church
This morning Dave and I joined the church we've been visiting here for months. Its called Uptown Christ Covenant Church (www.uptownchurch.org). We went through the inquirer's class led by Lindsey Williams, an associate pastor. We're so thankful for a church home. It was such a fun proccess for us to look for a church here in Charlotte. Its the first time we'd had that opportunity as Dave already was employed by a church when we moved to Georgetown. Celia and Bennett stood with us (or held in the case of Ben) during the service. We're so thankful God has placed us in this church family. He's used these people to bless us immensely and we're looking forward to our years here in Charlotte at Uptown....where and how we'll serve. Bennett will be baptized at Uptown on March 5.

Celia's Birthday Party
Ok so Celia is all about donkeys. It all started while visiting E and Hunt's cabin and seeing the donkey's down the dirt road. Since then she's had donkey fever. So keeping with our animal birthday tradition (1 yr was a lamb bday) this year we decided for a heehaw birthday party (AF'06)! Here are some pictures to enjoy!

Just Getting Started
Hey everybody---just getting accustomed to this whole blog thing. We're working to get our website up and running so that we can keep everybody up to date on Kulp News. Currently we're in Charlotte. Dave is in his first year of seminary at RTS. Marybeth works at home with Celia and Bennett. Things are great in Charlotte. more to come....
