Snow Day

so it snowed WEEKS ago but i haven't been feeling great and have been quite delayed in posts- here was the "accumulation"

clearly we hunkered down to watch Cinderella

Dave went outside and made a snowman, nice, huh?

the girls thought so and decided to eat it-

we liked the snow but are itching for a little warmer weather- thankfully this week is in the 50's!

moving on up.....

Well round 2 was successful thank goodness! About the time Dave was right in the middle of finals last semester I decided it was time to move Bennett from her crib in her own room to a toddler bed in Celia's room all in one fell swoop- I was so wrong! She managed to make it a whole hour and half with LOTS of discipline and left the room finally to return to her crib---Celia crying as well..."I don't want Bennett in my room, she won't stay in her bed and won't be quiet and I'm tired...." We figured our little Ben might be crib-bound til she was 5. But for the following weeks she would say "toddler bed?" and would pretend she was in them often. We knew she was serious when she looked at Cooper (my parents' dog) and then to Cooper's dog bed and said "Cooper's toddler bed?" So we tried again and this time in her own room....one step at a time, right?







She loves her toddler bed....she asks for it regularly and often times wants to cut her nighttime reading short so she can go lay down. She's sleeps on her belly and uses a little pillow....so sweet- The first night she fell out and slept right through it. Last night she fell out and didn't sleep through it....It was a rough one but she loves her toddler bed still! Way to go Ben! We're so proud!

After the royal breakfast we headed to the Animal Kingdom for a safari and then later that night to the Spectromagic parade back at the Magic Kingdom. Day 3 we headed to Epcot....

Cinderella's Royal Table

Monday morning in Disney was an early one for us we ladies took our princesses to dine with the Disney royalty inside Cinderella's castle! It was so magical! We made our reservations 180 days in advance and it was finally here! I'm not sure who was more excited?

Oh oh it's magic....

Magic Kingdon here we come! We made it into the park! After we got our strollers we headed out.....

and there she is....Cinderella's castle...breathtaking

our first ride was a frightful peter pan, Celia head buried, tears on the verge. Our second ride was Its a Small world.....that was our family favorite....here we are as we are about to embark-

on our way out we grabbed caramel corn and a funnel cake to watch the family fun parade

For a ride home, we got to take a boat from the park straight to the wilderness lodge.

All of this and it was only the first day in the park!

Disney Day 1

E and Hunt took the crew to Disney! We stayed at the villas at Wilderness Lodge-we got there Saturday and played around the hotel. When the Jacksons arrived Samuel was still in the throws of a stomach bug (not fun for him) but the rest of the kids walked around trying to soak in the sights and get psyched for the next day, our first day in the park.
