Just a little about Miss Bennett

I just wanted to take a minute and gush over my sweet little girl. I feel that so often on this blog there is more focus on Celia and, being a second child myself, want to even the playing field a bit.
Bennett's milestones....she's sitting up, and rolling all over the place...very often in repetitions and gets her head jammed under things (most painful experience was getting head lodged under her ottoman in her room). She laughs hysterically at Celia when Celia gets in her face and says "boggle boggle"...she loves her daddy and is very happy-go-lucky.........as i re-read this it sounds like a personal! so to all the young babies out there (samuel jones, owen purdy, baby boy miller, baby boy gainor...)she's quite the catch!

Anna Dargan baptized!

This past weekend Mom and Dad went to Birmingham for Ben's residency graduation (pshhht!) and Anna Dargan's baptism. Anna Dargan is precious, and the boys are hilarious. Wizzy said that during the baptism the whole family was up there and Samuel stuck his fingers in his ears and started singing, and Henry held Anna Dargan's hand. Sounds about right! We miss our birmingham family!

IOP '06

We're back from a great week and a half at IOP! It was a blast! This year we went down Wednesday with Jake and Melissa Hunt. Friday the McCanns joined us. On Monday our seminary friends headed north and the Burns joined us. Then we got some time with Kendall and also a night with Pittard and Lauren, his fiancee. Celia got to see almost everyone she'd ever want to see in a week. She was beside herself.

We were able to walk up the ravenel bridge and thankfully I lived to tell the story. The wind was whipping. Celia really loved the beach this year. It was great to watch her conquer her fear of the water which had a large part to do with kate burns' no-holds-barred love for the beach. Bennett hopefully will prove more beach-loving next year. Her longest stint this go around was about 14 minutes.
