You know how it feels when you walk into a place that is so familiar, so life-giving, so peaceful, so .....right? It's like that for us with the Cospers. Graham and Lisa have become some of our dearest friends and every time we walk in their back door we can just exhale. It's so natural and we are so grateful. They hosted us for a week this past fall when Obama and his buddies came to town as our place was rented out. My favorite thing to do is to sit in her kitchen drinking a glass of wine and watch Lisa cook something fabulous (girl knows her way around the kitchen)!
We were there last night for dinner and I'm so grateful for depth of conversation and affirmations....topics from adoption to occupational therapy, lung surgery to maker's mark, you name it, we speak it. Nothing is held back. Honesty flows as does grace.
Our kids had a ball too! They always do...James and Caroline are precious gifts to our girls..... here are a couple of pics I snapped as we were leaving....
